Chiranjeevi has proved once again that he’s a real megastar. Amidst high expectations, ‘Sye Raa’ hit the screens last week and the film has completed its first week run on glory note. The period patriotic drama directed by Surender Reddy has raked in whopping Rs 83.5 Cr in its first week from the Telugu states. The film had posted amazing numbers from Ceded and Vizag region.

Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa collects $2.1 million

‘Sye Raa’ grossed an impressive 2.1 million in its long weekend (5 days +premiere). Released on October 1st, the North American audiences have showered love on the film on the day of premieres. However, despite better ratings from the critics and good word-of-mouth, ‘Sye Raa’ struggled a lot during the weekdays. 

At one time, trade was skeptical of it reaching a $2 million mark. But the impressive haul on Saturday made the film go past $2 million mark. This is second consecutive $2 million gross for a Chiranjeevi starrer after ‘Khaidi No 150’.

Sye Raa Collections: Day 2, holds well

After drawing record haul on the first day, ‘Sye Raa’ the Megastar Chiranjeevi’s dream project, has managed to hold the momentum on day 2 as well. There is a drop but it is not a huge one to worry about. In fact, ‘Sye Raa’ did hold well at the ticket window on its second day. The movie has reached near to Rs 50-crore mark within two days of its release in Telugu states. The cumulative share now stands at Rs 48 cr.
 
Day 1 - Rs 37.93 Cr
Day 2  - Rs 10.10 Cr

Total AP&TS Share: Rs 48.03 Cr
