Khaidi - Blockbuster -Total Collections

After a long time, Karthi has scored a hit in Telugu states. ‘Khaidi’ brought him huge success. The movie emerged as real winner competing with Vijay’s ‘Whistle’ which hardly broke even. KK Radhamohan bought the movie’s rights for the Telugu states for paltry amount of Rs 3.50 crore. He sold the movie for Rs 5 crore to various distributors.

All the buyers had seen profits and the producer too had pocketed good money.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraju, the film starred Karthi as just released prisoner. It didn’t feature a single song or romantic scene or the female lead. The film won rave reviews and it also turned out to be blockbuster.
