No remuneration for these heroes!

Some of the actors who are going through a rough patch have become producer-friendly. They are now more than ready to make large-hearted concessions to producers.

A case in point is Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. After a series of uncool flops, he has now given up on remuneration. His film with Gopichand Malineni will be made without him being paid a rupee. He has sought shares if the film makes profits. That's how Tagore Madhu is producing this 2020 release.

Same is true for Gopichand. The 'Chanakya' actor recently signed on a movie to be directed by Sampath Nandi. It happened only after he assured that he will not charge any fee for his work but will seek a share in profits.

Since Ravi Teja and Gopichand are action heroes, films made on a tight budget can yield profits even if the theatrical run is average. Ravi Teja is very popular in parts of North India and his dubbed films do very well. He and Gopichand's action movies can fetch high returns in terms of digital rights. Add satellite rights, you have a very bright scenario.

Nikhil Siddharth's new film, 'Kartikeya 2', is yet another movie in the same zone.  Raj Tarun is also doing the same now.

All the above actors will get fees or share in profits only once the producer makes money after selling the film.
