Prabhas: The new Indian superstar

Prabhas, the name itself brings a smile on the faces of many. He is the new-age Indian superstar which the world is talking about nowadays. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, he is known to everyone. All this has been possible with just one film ‘Baahubali’. With ‘Saaho’ he has proved he’s not a one-film wonder in the North India market.

Even with low ratings and bad word-of-mouth, the Hindi version of ‘Saaho’ made over Rs 160 crores and this itself speaks volumes about his popularity. This stardom of Prabhas seems overnight for many in northern India but Prabhas has been around for more than a decade now in Telugu cinema. He has his cult following and has done films which have been blockbusters.

He is a darling for his fans and co-stars. He treats his unit as a family and feeds them well. Prabhas took a big risk when he gave five years of his career to make Baahubali and the result is here to see. Now, every big brand wants him and there is a stampede if he attends an event. His wax statue has been kept at Madame Tussauds and just his name ensures the solid pre-release business of his movies.

One can easily say from the past few years, there have been many stars from the south who have migrated to Bollywood but none of them have been that successful as Prabhas is. All those who work with Prabhas are in awe of him for his nature and boding skills. As he is the most eligible bachelor, Prabhas is also a hot property with the girls and gossip columns.

All his films are going to be Pan-India. He is planning his career carefully and will surely do some big-budget Hindi films as well in the coming days. Here's wishing the handsome hunk a very happy birthday.
