Sai Pallavi erring in judgment!

She was a euphoria when she debuted in the Malayalam version of ‘Premam’. It was like we have a new actress on the block who will shine for her performance. Such was her performance and such was her selection of films. 

A medico by profession Sai Pallavi took Tollywood by storm with her performance in Sekhar Kammula’s film ‘Fida’. The movie went on to become a blockbuster and a trendsetter. She was offered many films, but she did not pick every film that came her way. The actress was cautious and picked the ones that she liked. Then there was ‘MCA’ that strengthened her position in Tollywood.

Post this Sai Pallavi became a part of some films where she lost the magic hold in cinema. She did ‘Kanam’, ‘Mari 2’ and ‘Padi Padi Lecha Manasu’… all of them bombed at the box-office. Though the Rowdy Baby song in ‘Mari 2’ helped her reach the masses, other movies were disasters.

And the latest release ‘NGK’ brought bad reviews. Her role in these films were nothing to rave about. In ‘NGK’, her role of domesticated wife was routine and it was a clichéd one. The actress seems to have lost her judgment in picking the right films. All that hype surrounding Sai Pallavi is fizzing out slowly.

Sai Pallavi is a powerhouse of talent. It’s time that she gets herself together and concentrates on the kind of films that she is signing. She will next be seen opposite Rana in ‘Virat Parvam’. Hope she bounces back with this.
