Even young people and middle-aged persons are equally at risk and not immune to coronavirus. The recent data depicts that a large number of cases are in the bracket of twenty-plus to fifty-plus age. But those who have crossed 60 are at greater risk. This is why the government guidelines stated to avoid actors below 10 and above 60 on the sets.

These guidelines and the surge of cases in Hyderabad region have made the senior stars to change their plans of resuming shooting this month or next month. Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s untitled film (#BB3) in the direction of Boyapati, and Venkatesh’s ‘Naarappa’ are not going to resume the shoot anytime soon. If our sources are to be believed, all the three senior stars will wait until the curve of corona cases start flattening.

Nagarjuna has only ‘Wild Dog’ which can be finished in 10 days. So, he is not worried about it.

The industry approached the Telangana government to grant permissions and convened series of meetings in this regard when cases were low. But the situation in Telangana has drastically changed in the last twenty days. With one of the lowest count of testing and sudden spike of death rate, the industry seniors have realized it is too risky to commence the shoots now.
