What happens to the Active Director's Guild?

Last month, a group of leading directors had convened a meeting to discuss various issues pertaining to their fraternity. Telugu Director’s Association is one of the oldest organizations in Tollywood but the association has many non-working directors and assistant directors as members. So, Rajamouli, Koratala Siva, and the other 30 members have decided to float Active Director’s Guild on the lines of Active Producer’s Guild. 

They were forefront in deciding guidelines for shooting amid the corona outbreak. 

But reliable sources have informed us that the guild has now dropped all its activities. The spike in corona positive cases has dampened their spirits. It may not be floated in these circumstances. Thus the guild has a become non-starter.

Meanwhile, Rajamouli postponed the plans of resumption of ‘RRR’ shoot. Koratala Siva is following the same and stopped all the work related to the shoot of ‘Acharya’. Director Trivikram is completely clueless when his next film starts rolling. His next film with NTR will only begin next year.
