Gang Leader - First Week Collections

Nani’s ‘Gang Leader’ had a below-par run in its first week. The movie starring Nani and newcomer Priyanka Arul Mohan had a good first weekend but it went downhill later. The film didn’t do well on weekdays thus taking the total collection to mere Rs 19.20 Cr (worldwide share) in its first week.

Directed by Vikram Kumar, the film’s poor performance at the box-office has added another flop to Nani’s account. He recently had flops with ‘Krishnarjuna Yuddham’ and ‘Devadas’. With Varun Tej starrer ‘Valmiki’ doing well at the box-office, ‘Gang Leader’ has little chance to bounce back this weekend.

Apart from Nani, the film also starred ‘RX100’ hero Kartikeya. It is a revenge drama. The movie received low ratings from critics as well.

The film was sold (pre-release business) for Rs 28 Cr.
