1st Weekend in USA: Oopiri grosses $905k

PVP Cinema's 'Oopiri' that is directed by Vamsi Paidipally and featuring Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamannah in the roles has posted amazing figures in its first weekend. The movie has grossed about 905k dollars so far. In a day or two, the movie would touch the magical one million dollars mark in USA.

Good ratings, positive word of mouth have helped the movie to collect such huge openings. Nagarjuna and Karthi both are enjoying the massive success in overseas.

'Oopiri' is an adaptation of blockbuster French movie 'The Intouchables'. The movie had music by Gopi Sundar and cinematography by P S Vinod.
