2 Point 0 to release on Diwali 2017

Superstar Rajinikanth and director Shankar’s magnum opus  #2.0,  '2 Point O', sequel to ‘Robo’, will be releasing on Deepavali festival in 2017. The movie will be releasing in 3D. The official release date was announced today (November 20) in Mumbai. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan graced the event. Karan Johar hosted the event.  Rajinikanth and the film's villain Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, director Shankar and A R Rehman were also present. 

Being directed by Lyca Productions, the movie is still under progress. To put an end to speculations about its release date, the team has made it clear that it would release on the eve of Deepavali festival in 2017 in 3D format.
