2.0: Telugu rights sold for Rs 81 Cr

It is old news that Andhra Pradesh and Telangana's theatrical rights of '2.0' have been sold by Lyca Productions for an astronomical price. Gloabal Cinema has owned the rights by shelling out the incredible figure.  But here is the exact amount Asian Films paid to bag rights. Rs 81 cr for AP and Telangana theatrical rights.

Golbal Cinema doesn’t have rights on Satellite or overseas area. In terms of dubbing rights, this is all-time No. 1 record.  

The said distribution company bought the rights for the flabbergasting price in the wake of 'Baahubali 2' collecting Rs. 198 Cr (share) just in the Telugu States. The distributor believes that '2.0' has the range that Rajamouli's magnum opus got.   The Telugu dubbing rights of 'Robo' (2010) were sold for Rs. 27 Cr.  Seven years later, it's instructive that the sequel has fetched three times that amount.

The recently released making video of '2.0' suggests that Shankar is going to deliver breathtaking visuals without fail. Rajinikanth is set to create BO histories from 25 January 2018, when the film releases.
