2019: Despite flops, brand Vijay Devarakonda is intact

Vijay Devarakonda is one star that cannot be ignored. Vijay is one actor who has grown leaps and bounds in popularity this 2019. He has not acted in any Hindi film yet but he still gets coverage in national media and gets an invitation to attend Bollywood big events. 

So much was said about his film ‘Dear Comrade’ but the film failed badly at the box office. The songs were popular and both Rashmika and Vijay's off-screen chemistry was spoken about more in 2019. 

Vijay’s debut as a producer also bombed this year. He turned producer to launch director Tharun Bhascker as the hero who gave him his first hit ‘Pelli Choopulu’. His maiden production ‘Meeku Maathrame Cheptha’ was a flop but the talk is that Vijay made decent profits by selling the film for good profits.

He is trying hard to make his Hindi debut next year and 2020 will have him teamed up with Puri Jagan. His other film ‘World Famous Lover’ will also come out this year. Dil Raju also announced a film in the combination of Vijay Deverakonda and director Shiva Nirvana. Despite setbacks, his popularity and craze are intact.
