2019: A dismal year for Rakul Preet

There is no denying the fact that Rakul Preet Singh is not in demand in Tollywood anymore. With each passing year, her fame and popularity in Telugu cinema are dying down drastically. 2019 was a dismal year for her as both ‘Manmadhudu 2’ and ‘NGK’ were disasters in her career. 

She was trolled badly for her performances and choosing some really bad films. Things were a little better for her in Hindi as her film ‘Marjaavan’ and ‘De De Pyaar De’ were average grossing movies. The former clicked because of Tara Sutaria as Rakul had a guest role. This brought her some fame and a few offers in Hindi as of now. She has shifted her base to Mumbai now.

In Telugu, she has no offers at all and because of this, she also fired her manager. In Tamil, she has biggies in the form of ‘Indian 2’ and Shiva Karthikeyan film and her career in the south will be depending on the success of these films.
