2019: A year of opportunity for Rashmika

Rashmika Mandanna became a sensation of sorts, post the success of ‘Geetha Govindam’ last year. This gave her another chance to work with hot sensation Vijay Devarakonda in the film ‘Dear Comrade’. Halfway through the shoot, the makers decided that the film will be released in all the four south Indian languages. 

This gave Rashmika even more popularity. Her chemistry and on-screen romance with Vijay Devarakonda kept her in the news all the time. But ‘Dear Comrade’ flopped and disappointed big time. 

But her popularity ensured that she got a film with none other than Mahesh Babu. Her big-ticket to star hero films happened with ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru; which will release in January. She has also bagged another biggie -Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s film that was recently launched. She has ‘Bheeshma’ with Nithin and will very soon make her debut in Hindi. So, 2019 was a year of opportunities for her more than the successes.
