Senior actor Mada Venkateshwara Rao was today (14th October) admitted at the Apollo Hospitals after complaining for breathing problems. His condition is stable now, the family said, while he is still being treated in the ICU.

Some news channels reported that the actor has breathed his last. The family has requested the media not to do such baseless reporting. He is very much alive and his condition is stable now they ascertained.

Venkateshwara Rao became popular with the eunuch character he played in Chillarakottu Chittemma (1977). His song "Soodu Pinnamma Paadu Pilladu" was a rage in the 70s. The comedian did many roles but is popularly identified with mada (sort of shemale) characters.
