Actress Prema files for divorce

Another film actress’s married life has gone sour. Actress Prema has filed a petition in the court seeking divorce under the Hindu Marriage Act Section 13(D). She had married a software industrialist Jeevan Appachchu in 2006. Reason cited for divorce is incompatibility. 

Prema was a popular actress down south and she has acted in several Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam films. She acted in Telugu films Dharma Chakram, Chirunnavutho, etc. Originally from Kodagu, Prema debuted into films with the Kannada film Savyasachi in which she was paired with Shiva Raj Kumar.
