Akhil Akkineni getting more brands

Akhil Akkineni's debut film Akhil didn't set cash registers ringing. Amidst heavy expectations the movie was released last month but it turned out to be damp squib.

Undeterred by the setback, Akhil is looking forward to begin the second movie but he has not yet decided about the director. Although his father Nagarjuna is currently holding discussions with some directors for the second movie which is likely to be produced on Annapurna Studios, the director name will only be announced early next year.

As per our sources, the movie mostly will be romantic drama. On the other hand, he is getting more offers for brand endorsements. He has signed by South India Shopping Mall to be their new brand ambassador.
