Anushka to thrill us as Bhagmati!

Contrary to all the reports and assumptions, Anushka's 'Bhagmati' is not a period drama. So far everyone is under impression that she is playing the role of Hyderabad queen Bhagmati.

The love story of Bhagmati and Hyderabad ruler Muhammad Quli Qutb Sha is a legend. But Anushka starrer 'Bhagmati' doesn’t focus on this story, as per the movie's director Ashok. He says the movie is a thriller.

The film is being made with rich sets and high-end graphics. This is going to be bigger than 'Arundhati', the horror-revenge drama that made Anushka a big star. UV Creations is producing the film. Regular shoot commences from third week of January. Malayalam actor Jayaram will be acting in the villain's role.
