Bichagadu to run for 100 days!

At one time, movies dubbed into Telugu from Tamil ruled Telugu box-office. Off late, even Kollywood big heroes like Vikram too are struggling to score a hit in our Telugu land. Except Suriya and Rajinikanth’s movies, none of Tamil movies are creating an impact.

After a long time, a small Tamil film created a huge sensation in AP and Telangana states. ‘Bichchagadu’, dubbed version of Vijay Antoy starrer ‘Pichaikkaran’, has already collected about Rs 18 cr. The movie was bought for below Rs 1 Cr and it has grossed such huge amount.

The movie is still running with good occupancy even after 60 days of run and is heading to complete 100 days in many theaters. Interestingly, even the Tamil version, Pichaikkaran, is also running in couple of multiplexes in Hyderabad.

Even big star Telugu movies are not running beyond 50 days, this dubbed movie is all set to complete 100 days run. Truly a big win for a small movie!
