Chiranjeevi confirms Kaththi remake?

According to Telugu news channels, megastar Chiranjeevi has finally okayed the remake of Kaththi in the direction of V V Vinayak. The channels aired the reports that Chiranjeevi who has returned to movies with Charan's Bruce Lee has  liked the changes done to the basic story of Tamil movie Kaththi to suit his age and image.

Chiru had talks for his 150th movie with various directors including Puri Jagannadh and V V Vinayak but none of them came up with scripts that Chiru wanted to act in. But finally he seems to have stuck to the Murugadoss's movie.

The film will be directed by V V Vinayak said the reports. Vinayak is currently busy wrapping up Akhil's maiden movie. Released last year, Kaththi starring Vijay and directed by Murugadoss dealt with a relevant hot topic of current politics.
