Distributors of 'Loafer' today convened a press meet and denied the charges made by director Puri Jagannadh on them. Puri Jagannadh had filed a case against three distributors and alleged that they had threatened him and tried attacking him.

The distributors say that Puri Jagannadh is lying. They asked the police to see the total CCTV footage at Puri's office to know the truth.

On the other hand, producer C Kalyan who produced 'Loafer' said that misunderstanding between both the parties is cause for this unfortunate incident. "I am sure I can sort out this issue amicably. I have spoken to Puri Jagannadh who is in Bangkok now. Once he comes to Hyderabad, we will sort out the matter," C Kalyan told the media.

How can a director be responsible for the losses is what Puri asking. While distributors say they bought the rights of the movie based on the word given by Puri.

C Kalyan says both the parties took wrong step by misinformation. The issue could have resolved by the industry bigwigs in a room, he added. Both the parties shouldn't have filed cases against each other.

Distributors still demand the money for their losses.
