Gautamiputra Satakarni: Devi Sri Prasad walks out

This is a big development. Leading music composer Devi Sri Prasad is no longer part of Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni'. Both director Krish and DSP have mutually decided to part.
Krish wanted best tunes in quick time as he has less time on his hand for this historical movie about great Satavahana ruler called Satakarni. But Devi Sri Prasad is known for working leisurely. Also composing music for such a massive historical movie is different game altogether compared to working for a regular commercial entertainer. Moreover, Krish wanted complete devotion from on this prestigious project but Devi Sri Prasad is busy with other commitments and he cannot give complete time to this movie. So he has expressed his decision to leave the project. He will be working with Krish in future.
Director Krish who recently got married will now have to approach other music composer. Buzz is that either maestro Ilayaraja or M M Keeravani may replace Devi Sri Prasad.
‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni' is Nandamuri Balakrishna's 100th movie and the film is scheduled for Sankranthi release.
