Gautamiputra Satakarni to be launched on 22nd April

Balakrishna's 100th movie titled Gautamiputra Satakarni will be launched in grand way at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The movie was announced officially in Amaravathi on the eve of Ugadi festival on 8th April.
Being directed by Krish, the movie tells the life and times of great king Gautamiputra Satakarni of Satavahana empire who ruled from Amaravathi.
Regular shoot of the movie will commence some time in May. The movie's teaser will be launched on 10th June on the eve of Balakrishna's birthday. Heroine is yet to be finalized. Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to compose the music. V S Jnanasekhar will be handling the camera.
