Kabali paints the Air Asia flights red!

Thursday, June 30, 2016 - 10:15

Kabali has become the first Indian movie to use commercial flights for its movie promotions. AirAsia India, the official airline partner for Kabali, has devoted a special aircraft, bearing the images of the star, to the movie and the fans of the Tamil superstar.

Some Hollywood movies have used such promotional plans but Rajinikanth is the only Indian to have earned this unique feat. No other Indian movie had advertised its release or publicity posters on an aircraft.

In the movie, Rajinikanth is seen using the Air Asia jet planes, hence the company dedicated one aircraft for the movie’s promotion.

The aircraft will be flying across the AirAsia India network of destinations spanning Bengaluru, New Delhi, Goa, Pune, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Guwahati, Imphal, Vizag and Kochi.

But the movie’s release date has not been fixed yet. The producer Kalaipuli S Thanu says he will announce the date some time in July.
