Lakshmi as ambassador for Swach Bharat Telangana

Actress Lakshmi Manchu is selected as brand ambassador for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream programme - Swachh Bharat. She will be working as brand ambassador for the state of Telangana for this mission.
She will be felicitated for this at Rashtrapathi Bhawan in New Delhi on September 10th.
"I have done several programs on the cleanliness drive in my own capacity. Now being selected as brand ambassador for this mission has put more responsibility on me. I feel fortunate to be honored by President of India. I thank Prime Minister Modi for entrusting me this responsibility and I will do my best for the state of Telangana in this cleanliness drive," she said in a statement.
Lakshmi Prasanna's recent release was Dongaata. She is yet to sign new films.
