MAA felicitates Jamuna and Kaikala

Movie Artistes' Association (MAA) headed by actor Rajendra Prasad today felicitated veteran actors Jamuna and Kaikala Satyanarayana. Both Jamuna and Kaikala praised Rajendra Prasad’s work as President of MAA and Jamuna handed over Rs 1 Lakh to the MAA and asked the money to use for the pension scheme for the poor artistes.

Kaikala asked the association to continue this kind of good work. Dasari Narayana Rao who was present lambasted on the government for not honoring great artistes like Kaikala, Savitri and Jamuna with Padma awards. "Governments are giving Padma awards to those who have influence on the high echelons of power and not recognizing the real talents," he said.
