Mahesh Babu to launch his production house

Mahesh Babu is planning to turn producer. He has decided to start a production house of his own. Buzz in filmnagar is that his wife Namrata will run all the production activities. ‘Gowtham Productions’ is the name that is being considered for this new production house.

Mahesh Babu has no plans of producing big-budgeted movies. On the flip side he wants to create a platform for new talents that come up with concept-based stories.Mahesh Babu's father Superstar Krishna produced many films on their renowned Padmalaya Studios. Also Mahesh Babu's brother Ramesh Babu and sister Manjula produced movies on their respective banners. Now, Mahesh is foraying into film production on his own.

Presently the actor is busy shooting for director Koratala Siva's 'Srimanthudu'. The film is slated for July 17th release.
