Malayalam actress Kalpana dies in Hyderabad

Popular Malayalam actress Kalpana who is known for her comedy acting suffered a heart attack in the wee hours of Monday and passed away after being admitted to Apollo hospital at Hyderabad. She was in the city for the shooting of Nagarjuna starrer Oopiri.
Kalpana bagged the National Award for the Best Supporting Actress for her performance in "Thanichalla Njan". Kalpana is the sister of film actresses Urvashi and Kalaranjini. She was 51 and is survived by a daughter.
