Nannaku Prematho collects Rs 42 cr in first week

Despite competing with three other movies during Sankranthi festival, Nannaku Prematho has collected about Rs 42 Cr (share) worldwide in the first week itself. According to trade pundits, this is biggest ever 1st week collections for a non-solo release movie. While Baahubali, Srimanthudu and Atharinitki Daaredi had collected much more than this in the first week, all of them were released without competition. They were solo Telugu movies during the week they released. 
 
NTR competed with big movies like Balakrishna's Dictator and Nagarjuna's Soggade Chinni Nayana. While Nagarjuna's Soggade Chinni Nayana has become blockbuster, Nannaku Prematho has also collected such an impressive figure. NTR has proved that if right film comes he will set box-office on fire.
 
Now the question is will it enter into Rs 50 Cr club? In his 25 movies career, he is yet to join the club of Rs 50 Cr while all other his contemporaries have couple of such hits in their kitty.
