Nikhil and Kona part ways?

Rumors have been floating around that hero Nikhil is miffed with writer and direction-supervisor Kona Venkat for the tepid response of their recently released movie Sankarabharanam. The rumors also suggested that Nikhil was totally disappointed with the total negative reviews and feedback for the movie. 
 
But close sources say, both of them still share good relations. Though Nikhil was disappointed with the result, he is still participating in the movie's promotions actively and maintaining good relations with Kona.
 
Nikhil was hoping to deliver another hit and he believed that the expertise of Kona in creating comedy would help the movie achieve desired results. Off late, Kona Venkat is going through rough phase, all the movies that he had written this year turned out to be damp squib. Understanding this situation, Nikhil didn't blame Kona for the negative talk, a source informed us.
