Omega Movie & Stars Of The Year

2015 is ended on positive note for Tollywood. A bountiful year for Tollywood. Total 172 straight Telugu movies were released. As anyone can guess the movie of the year tag belongs to Rajamouli's grand visual spectacle - Baahubali, that grossed about Rs 610 Cr worldwide and created many other digital records.

Baahubali The Beginning was Rajamouli's 10th film. It is a mega or as RGV would say omega blockbuster in his career. The film is now having shoot of its second part titled Baahubali The Conclusion.

Heroes of The Year

The tag of 'Hero of the Year' would definitely go to the star who delivered biggest hit in that year. But in the case of 2015, two heroes would share this tag as both Prabhas and Mahesh Babu both delivered all-time blockbusters in a single year.

While Prabhas played lead role and dedicated his two years to the Baahubali, the success was more attributed to Rajamouli than Prabhas. But again, the one who discounts his contribution to its success would also be considered as a fool. Hence we give the tag of Hero Of The Year to Prabhas along with Mahesh Babu who delivered Srimanthudu, the second all-time blockbuster in the history of Tollywood.

Mahesh Babu should be credited as he was the prime reason for its mammoth success. Before the release of Srimanthudu, Koratala Siva didn't have much craze except among film lovers. So more credit goes to Mahesh Babu for the success.

So, the heroes of the year undoubtedly are Young Reble Star and Superstar.
