Rajinikanth film titled Mahadeva?

Superstar Rajinikanth is currently in USA for the makeup test of Robo 2 but his next release is not Robo 2 but Kabali, his current Tamil movie that has completed major part of the shoot. 
 
Meanwhile, a top producer from Tollywood is trying to bag the rights of this Kabali for the Telugu version. Buzz is that the discussion has almost reached to the final stage. On the other hand, we have learnt that the movie has been titled Mahadeva in Telugu. 
 
Since Kabali means Lord Shiva, the name of Mahadeva was picked up for the Telugu version as it would give more catchy sound in Telugu. 
 
In the film, Rajinikanth will be seen as an ageing gangster who is looking for vengeance of his family member's death. The film is being directed by Ranjith. Radhika Apte is playing Rajinikanth's wife in the movie.
