Ram Gopal Varma announces his last film

Ram Gopal Varma today announced that his current movie 'Vangaveeti' will be his last film in Tollywood. 'Vangaveeti' is set in the backdrop of caste wars in Vijayawada in the 1980's. The war between two groups belonging to different communities brought the Vijayawada city to standstill and put the area under curfew for nearly one month.
In Andhra Pradesh, the Kapu agitation has changed the scenario again. At this very moment, RGV announced his film 'Vangaveeti' that chronicles the times of Vangaveeti in Vijayawada.
"I began my career with Shiva and ending with Vangaveeti. The reason I chose this film to end my career is I won't be able to find great story than this," he said in a statement. Although he is born and brought up in Hyderabad, RGV says he considers himself more of a Vijayawadite.
