Ram Gopal Varma's next subject: Vangaveeti family

Although Ram Gopal Varma recently announced that he would be shifting his base to Mumbai from Hyderabad for good, he seems to have changed his mind. The maverick filmmaker today announced a new Telugu film titled Vangaveeti.
"My next film's name is "Vangaveeti". Film starts with the raise of Radha and ends with the death of Ranga..That's why I am calling the film "Vangaveeti"," Ram Gopal Varma tweeted.
During NTR's regime in Andhra Pradesh, Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga, a Congress leader in Vijayawada, became a demigod for his community members. "He was murdered by group of people who came in Ayyapa Mala costume. After his death, Vijayawada turned very violent. This incident turned city to be under curfew for 40 days," says Wikipedia.
RGV is set to make a film on the family of Vangaveeti. He added,"The film "Vangaveeti" will tell the actual reality of the realities of Vangaveetis. "Vangaveeti" will make "Raktacharitra" seem like a children's film."
