Nikhil has gone for complete makeover. He will be seen in a military haircut in the current thriller titled Shankarabharanam. Well, the movie is nothing to do with classic K Vishwanath's Shankarabharanam.

This is a horror comedy, says writer Kona Venkat, who is also involved in the movie's production. "After the super hit horror comedy Geetanjali, we are attempting this." The movie that sees the pairing of Nikhil and Nanditha is in the last leg of shoot.

As per writer Kona Venkat, In Shankarabharanam Nikhil plays the role of a rich NRI youth who believes he is born to enjoy all good things in life. When he comes down to India for an occasion, his life turns topsy-turvy.

Shot extensively in USA and Bihar in India, the movie is aiming for Deepavali release. It has six songs composed by Praveen Lakkaraju. We have not used any sets for songs, all were shot on natural locations, makers announced.

Anjali is also playing an important guest role in the movie.
