Shruti Haasan to be seen as lecturer

Shruti Haasan will be playing a young Tamil lecturer in her next Telugu film titled Majnu, which is remake of Malayalam super hit movie, Premam. In the original version, Sai Pallavi, a beautiful Malayalam actress, has done the role and in the Telugu version Shruti has been roped in to play this character.

Naga Chaitanya is playing the lead role in Majnu, which is being directed by Chandoo Mondet of Karthikeya movie fame. The film is produced by Sitara Entertainments with music by the original Malayalm music director.

The movie also has two more heroines - Anupama Parameshwaran and Amrya Dastur. Regular shoot begins from next month. Shruti Haasan is reportedly paid a bomb for this movie as she has given dates on priority base to the movie.
