Suriya denies being part of Rajamouli's Baahubali 2

Ever since it was clear that top director S S Rajamouli has changed the script for Baahubali 2 to reach to the wider audiences and make it bigger than the first part, many speculations about new cast members have begun. Recently Tamil media was agog with the reports that Suriya is going to play a prominent role in the sequel of Baahubali.  

Suriya on his part came out clean on this issue. Speaking to a newspaper, he said he was neither approached by Rajamouli or the producers regarding Baahubali 2  yet. He said all the reports were pure speculations.

He also added that he would love to do any part in Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise but no one approached him.

Post Vikramarkudu, Rajamouli planned a movie with Suriya but it didn’t work out. On the other hand, the regular shoot of Baahubali sequel would begin next month.
