Vedhalam to be remade in Telugu?

Looks like our stars are facing the dearth of good scripts in Tollywood. So they are looking towards hits in other languages. Recently Ram Charan snapped the remake rights of Tamil hit, Thani Oruvan. Naga Chaitanya is all set to do the remake of Malaylam movie, Premam. Chiranjeevi evinced interest to remake Tamil hit Kaththi.

Latest movie to get to be remade in Telugu is Ajith starrer Vedhalam, that has now created new records in Tamilnadu. The film is said to be a mass entertainer with regular storyline. But the movie seemed to have pressed the right buttons to attract the mass audiences.

A top hero in Tollywood is reportedly showing interest now to remake it in Telugu. Will it really happen given the fact that out and out mass movies are no longer clicking with the audiences?
