Actor 'Kick' Shaam arrested for gambling

The Chennai police have arrested several people including actor Shaam, better known for his roles in ‘Kick’ and ‘Racegurram’, for indulging in gambling. According to media reports, the police have received a tip about the gambling activity at the actor’s apartment in the Nungambakkam area in Chennai. 

The police have said that they have found tokens used for gambling at his apartment and the activity has allegedly been going for a long. The Chennai city is reeling under the huge spike of the corona cases and a lockdown has also been imposed. The rich and famous are using the upscale apartments for ‘entertaining’ and gambling activity.

A popular actor who lost money in this gambling is said to have passed the information to the police.

Shaam began his career as a lead actor in Tamil films like ‘12B’ but he got prominence with his character roles in Telugu movies ‘Kick’, ‘Racegurram’, ‘Oosaravelli’ and ‘Kick 2’.
