Vijay’s ‘Adirindhi’ has landed in trouble with Animal Welfare Board of India as they didn’t seek no objection certificate beforehand despite filming sequences involving animals. This lapse on part of production team made the movie not getting censor certificate on time. Finally, it has been cleared. Due to this, the Telugu version of Vijay’s movie is releasing on 19th October instead of 18th October.
 
‘Adirindhi’ has Vijay playing three roles – a doctor, a magician and a village youth. Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya Menen are the heroines. Directed by Atlee, the movie has script by Vijayendra Prasad.
