Adirindhi releasing this week ads appear

Just the other day we reported that there was still no clarity on the release of Vijay’s ‘Adirindhi’ as the film was facing censor issues. Now producer Sharat Marar threw a surprise by placing ads in newspapers. In all the leading newspapers “releasing this week” ads have appeared giving hope.
 
Sources say the producers are hoping to get censor clearance today (Wednesday). Based on this, they are hoping to release the movie this weekend either on Friday or Saturday. ‘Adrindhi’ is dubbed version of ‘Mersal’, the latest blockbuster of Tamil Superstar Vijay. The film is directed by Atlee of ‘Raja Rani’ fame. It has screenplay by Vijayendra Prasad of ‘Baahubali’ fame.
 
‘Mersal’ ran into controversy over some scenes that criticized Central government’s policies such as GST and Demonetisation. Hence the film’s Telugu version also ran into trouble in getting censor certificate. But it seems all problems are clearing off now.
