Akhil Akkineni's new film titled Hello!

Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha are running a promotional campaign on social media asking fans to find out the title of Akhil's next movie from the songs that they are sharing. The title will officially be announced on Monday (August 21). From the hints they have given it is clear that the film has been titled ‘Hello’. 'Hello' is a catchy word and it has universal appeal. It is also easy to promote as a hashtag on social media.

The movie is being directed by Vikram Kumar who prefers short one word titles - ‘13’, ‘Ishq’, ‘Manam’ and ‘24’. Earlier titles like ‘Junnu’ (heroine’s nickname in the film), 'Ekkada Ekkada Undo Taraka’ (aptly suits for the movie’s story), and ‘Malli Kaluddam’ were considered. The movie’s first look poster and logo will be unveiled shortly.

Nagarjuna produces the movie on Annapurna Studios banner. Director Priyadarshan and actress Lizzy’s daughter Kalyani is debuting as actress. Slated for December 22nd release, ‘Hello’ is an action-romantic drama.
