Akhil Akkineni is busy getting ready for his engagement with Shreya Bhupal.The ceremony will take place in Hyderabad on 9th December. Post this his second film will go on floor on January 2017. This movie will be directed by Vikram Kumar and it will be a romantic drama.

Vikram Kumar told Telugucinema.com that he is ready with the script and will soon be launching the movie. But he said regular shoot will only commence sometime in January 2017.

Currently he is scouting a leading woman for Akhil. The movie will be produced by Annapurna Studios. Akhil's maiden movie Akhil' was released in 2015.
