Allu Arjun eying Baahubali 2 date

After scoring mega-blockbuster with ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ this Sankranthi, Allu Arjun had decided to secure the same date for the next Pongal. He planned to begin the shoot of his next film from March and release it for Sankranthi 2021 but the release date announcement of ‘RRR’ spoiled all his plans. 

He is now eying the best date in the summer of 2021.

As several biggies like Mahesh Babu - Parasuram’s film and NTR - Trivikram’s film are scheduled for the next summer, Allu Arjun wants to announce his movie’s release date on the same day when he begins regular shoot. He is looking for April 28/29, 2021 as the release date for his new film that is being directed by Sukumar. 

Prabhas’s Baahubali 2’ hit the screens on April 28 in 2017 and became a trendsetter. So, this would be an ideal date, he considers.

Once the lockdown is eased, all biggies that include Allu Arjun’s movie will announce their release plans. This current film to be directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers has Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine.
