Allu Arjun's plans of entering into Kollywood industry in big way hit a roadblock. Few months ago, Allu Arjun went to Chennai to announce his Tamil debut in the direction of Linguswamy, the popular Tamil director. Producer K Gnanavel Raja was announced as the producer. But reliable sources have informed us that Allu Arjun has now put this film aside as the producer and directors have their own share of problems to sort out in Kollywood.

This film was planned as bilingual - Tamil and Telugu but Allu Arjun declared in Chennai that it would be his first straight Tamil movie.

Not clear whether this film has entirely been dropped off or put on hold temporarily, but Allu Arjun will be launching his next movie in the direction of writer Vakkantham Vamsi from April. This new film which has working title of 'Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India' will be produced jointly by Lagadpati Sridhar and Nagababu.

The production team is now looking for right muhurtham to commence the shoot in April.
