Allu Sirish's flop show in Malayalam debut

Allu Sirish debuted in Malayalam in complete actor Mohan Lal's big-budgeted war drama '1971 Beyond Borders'. Major Ravi directed the film and it was released on 7th April in Kerala. Allu Sirish played a minor role in the movie but he hoped to get a foothold in Malayalam film industry with this. But the young star's hopes were dashed off as the film tanked at the box-office.
The movie also received thumbs down from the critics. Allu Arjun has huge fan following among Kerala youth and his films regularly get dubbed into Malayalam. So, Sirish is also following his brother's path but his maiden attempt bombed.
Sirish is currently acting in director Vi Anand's ('Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' fame) new film that was recently launched.
