Amitabh Bachchan to join Sye Raa sets this week

Big B Amitabh Bachchan will be joining the shoot of Chiranjeevi's magnum opus period drama 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' later this week.

Amitabh who plays the role of a guru to Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who revolted against British Raj in 1847, has agreed to come for the shoot after much cajoling by the team. He is expected to join the sets this Wednesday or Thursday.

Amitabh's is small but crucial role in this period drama being directed by Surender Reddy.  At one time, Big B told the team that he cannot be part of this project owing to his health issues and language problem. However, they requested him to allot just two or three days. Surender Reddy will have to finish Big B's portion in three days.

The film is being produced by Ram Charan with a whopping budget of Rs. 150 Cr. Currently shoot is progressing at the sets erected in Hyderabad. The film's female lead Nayanathara is already shooting for it.

The film boasts an exciting ensemble cast featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Kichcha Sudeep, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Jagapathi Babu in important roles.
