Producer Anil Sunkara is in joyful mode. “This Sankranthi festival is going to be big. We are happy with the final output of Sarileru Neekevvaru. Mahesh Babu’s fans will be in a treat,” he said while interacting with the media. ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ starring Mahesh Babu, Rashmika and Vijayashanthi in the main roles is scheduled for Jan 11, 2020 release.

“This will be the biggest release in Mahesh Babu’s career,” he added.

Speaking about the movie’s highlights, he informed the media that Mahesh Babu will be seen as an army major from the first scene to the climax. “It is a tribute to our Indian army. What happens if an army major comes to society is the main story?” he said.

It is also no secret that “Sarileru Neekevvaru” went beyond the stipulated budget. Admitting that budget has gone out of hands, producer Anil Sunkara said it was intentional. “It was a call taken by us. With incessant rains in September, we changed our plans. Instead of outdoor locations, we created many sets to reach our target of releasing it for Sankranthi. It was a decision taken by us and we are happy with the outcome and the overall business,” he said.
