Anushka Shetty joins Sye Raa shoot

Anushka Shetty has finally given her nod to mega epic period drama 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' that features Megastar Chiranjeevi as Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, a king who rebelled against the British authorities in 1840. Anushka Shetty has been roped in to play the role of narrator. From the point of view of her character, the story of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy starts unfolding.

Recently she has completed look test and shoot on her commences now.

The film is being directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan. Anushka took nearly three months to decide about this role.

The film's shoot will come to an end after wrapping up her portions. As the film is being made in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages with huge ensemble cast, the team felt like Anuskha would be right choice for the 'Sutraddhaar' role.

Anushk was away from arc lights last year but she is now signing films as she lost lot of weight.
