10 years after its release, the blockbuster ‘Arundhati’ is getting remade in Hindi. The film will soon be remade in Hindi with Kareena Kapoor essaying the titular character. 

‘Arundhati’ made Anushka Shetty a big star in Telugu. It was her first heroine-oriented thriller. The 2009 horror drama became one of the highest grossing films of all-time. Directed by Kodi Ramakrishna and produced by Shyam Prasad Reddy, the revenge thriller is getting its Hindi version on a bigger scale. 

Of late, Bollywood producers are showing a lot of interest in Telugu films and bagging the rights. They feel that this 2009 movie has the potential to become a blockbuster in Hindi as well. 

Either Anushka Sharma or Kareena Kapoor Khan to reprise Anushka’s role but the buzz is that Kareena has better chances.
